It is with great sadness that we share the passing of David Simmons, a respected member of our soccer community.

David dedicated many years to soccer and made a lasting impact through his involvement in the game. His passion for soccer, commitment to the referee community, and the relationships he built with players, coaches, referees, and fellow soccer supporters will always be remembered.

For those who had the privilege of knowing or working with David, you know that he was more than just a soccer referee—he was a friend, colleague, mentor, and an important part of our soccer family.

We extend our deepest condolences to Mary, David’s wife, and the entire Simmons family during this difficult time.

Let us remember David by celebrating his life, his contribution to soccer, and the many memories he shared with our soccer community.

Rest in peace, David. You will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
